After nearly 7 years working for other folks in the residential real estate and remodeling space, I decided to start Ornament because of a desire to infuse the start-to-finish design + construction experience with interpersonal connection and a fresh perspective. I believe this industry should be inclusive & respectful; fun & creative; free of the ego and chauvinism. I come into every job from the perspective of a woman, a mother, a creative, a collaborator, a confidant. I’m someone who can read the room and make sure people feel taken care of, both clients and tradespeople. Keeping the job-site and the client experience positive and forward moving is always at the forefront of my mind and I work hard to ensure it stays that way... All while making sure the final product is exceptional. 

Ornament exists to serve those who believe that homes have a soul; a history that should be respected and who have personal investment in honoring what it takes to preserve what they’re fortunate to own.
